The Q&A Archives: Asparagus beans

Question: This is kind of an odd question and you may think it sort of silly, but are Asparagus beans supposed to be shelled or snapped like green beans?

Answer: Asparagus beans are sometimes called 'Yardlong' beans because they can grow to enormous lengths. Other than the size, asparagus beans are just like pole or snap beans. Break, or snap them into lengths and stir-fry, steam, or saute'. They're delicious!
