Hi! Someone at HomeDepot suggested that an Azalea would do great in the sun. However, I read the tag and it looks like it's a plant that likes only morning sun. I'm going to exchange the plants tomorrow, but now I need a new idea for a plant. I want something that is similar to an Azalea's size and appearance (nice looking even when it's not flowering) but something that likes sun. |
You might consider Raphiolepis umbellata (Yeddo Hawthorn), which grows 4-5' high and wide, or spirea thunbergii (Thunberg Spirea) which has attractive flower in the summer and also grows about 4' tall and wide. Both are graceful, attractive shrubs. |
