The Q&A Archives: Can you help me identify this lawn weed?
Question: I live in southeastern North Carolina and a particular weed is starting to take over my lawn, which is centipede grass. It has one root, but it spreads out like a small flat bush and it also has small pink flowers. I'm not quite sure what to use to get rid of it, as it is very hot out and I don't want to 'burn' the lawn. Also, when is it a good time to fertilize?
Thanks so much for your help.
