I purchased a wine and roses bush and after it bloomed you guys told me to trim it and it would bloom again. I did that and it bloomed again. Should I trim it again now or wait until Fall or both? Also, I bought two Blue Spruce bushes (I think that's what they're called). Should I trim them before winter? I live in Chicago with harsh winters. Thanks!

You'll want to wait until spring to trim your weigela and your evergreens. If you prune them now the new growth may not have time to harden off before winter and the new growth might freeze. I'd just wait until spring when everything is beginning to grow and prune them back then. Enjoy your garden!
