| For 40 square feet you'll want to spread the compost 3" deep. You will need: five 2-cubic-foot bags, or four 3-cubic-foot bags, or ten cubic feet, or 0.4 cubic yards, or one pickup truck loads (midsize) if you're buying in bulk. |
