Garden areas invaded by Bermuda grass can be sprayed with an herbicide containing fluazifop, like Grass-B-Gone. This herbicide kills only grass, and is most effective when applied while grass is small. Although you should target the bermuda grass weeds, it can be sprayed over shrubs and flowers without harm. Numerous applications over several years are usually needed for control so be sure to follow label directions.
