I live in Phoenix and have a covered front porch that faces North. It is mostly shaded. It really only gets a little bit of early morning sun and late afternoon sun. As we're heading into the fall/winter season soon, I am wondering what you recommend for the coming season to plant? I have two fairly large pots on either side of my doorway entry that i'd like to fill with something.

I'm growing a viney shrub called Duranta on my shady front porch. Another interesting plant is snail vine. It wants to climb but I think it looks really nice just cascading down the sides of containers. You can also grow daylilies, desert rose, gardenia, lily of the nile, Mexican heather, mock orange or pink jasmine in containers on your porch. Enjoy your new plants!
