Answer: Daylilies have beautiful flowers, but an unfortunately short season. They really only put on a show for 2-3 weeks during the season. If some of your plants are continuing to bloom it's probably because they began blooming a little later than the rest. It's also natural for the leaves to begin to yellow after bloom. In the fall months be sure to cut away and remove all the withered leaves from your daylily plants - just a precaution to keep insect eggs and disease pathogens from overwintering near your plants.
