| I know the Phoenix Zoo is successfully growing several different kinds of bamboo (golden and oldhamii varieties among others). Most have some afternoon shade. Some of the larger nurseries carry bamboo so you might want to phone around to see who has what. I'd concentrate on clumping rather than running bamboos so you can keep control - just in case it thrives. Best wishes in your search! |
