The Q&A Archives: Little Ball Beets

Question: I ordered the Little Ball Beets from the 1997 catalog. However, I lost the catalog. How large do they grow? I'm not quite sure when to pick them?

Answer: The 'Little Ball' beets are baby beets and are ready to pick 56 days after planting. They're most tender and flavorful if they're harvested small - when the beet is about the size of a large radish.
