i have a miniture pomagranite for the past two years since ive had it it blooms beautifully but when it comes time for the blooms to transform into fruit it gets part way where it starts to form into a half inch pear shapped pom then falls off the steam . ive used mirracle grow for fruit but no luck again this year! |
It might be that the flowers are not being pollinated. Bees and wasps generally carry out the process of transferring pollen but if there is little or no bee activity, the flowers begin to develop fruit but the fruit will drop because the flower was not pollinated. You might try planting colorful annuals or perennials near your pomegranite, just to encourage insect activity around the shrub. Hope this helps! |
