The Q&A Archives: How can I keep squirrels from eating my corn?

Question: I've covered ears w/ brown paper bags, covered plants w/ bird netting, & hung aluminum pie plates over ears. Please help!

Answer: Wow! You've done everything I was going to suggest! I'm afraid barriers are the answer and short of completely fencing in your corn patch, there's nothing else I can recommend. Squirrels are quite destructive and once they determine you're growing corn, they just won't let up. Wish I had a solution for you that was easier than fencing the corn patch!
