Watermelons - Knowledgebase Question

It doesn't seem to matter how I lay- hang- support the watermelons. They start to rot where ever they touch the ground or sling.

Things are just remaining too wet. Try laying them on plastic wrapped cardboard, or straw - anything that will allow excess water to evaporate. You may end up having to lift the melons and replace the straw or cardboard periodically to make sure it stays dry. Wish I had a better solution!
