Are all tomato plants annuals?

Tomato plants are actually perennials but in most of the U.S. the temperatures get cold and the plants die in the fall or winter months. In Florida you have a good chance of keeping a tomato plant alive for two or three years. After that time it gets rangy and non-productive and should be replaced.
