ITALIAN SIPRES - Knowledgebase Question

IS A EVERGREEN TALL ITALAIN CIPRES, LAS YEAR THE CITY CUT THE TOP IN AFTER THAT WE HAVE SNOW, MY TREES (I HAVE 3) THEY BRANCHES BROKE IN SOME OF THEN HANG DOWN. MY QUESTION WHAT I CAN DO TO HELP THE TREES BE STRONG AGAIN. (ALSO ONE YEAR AGO I WAS PLANTING SOME SMALL FLOWER AROUND IN I SEE LIKE IN INSECT UNDER THE SOIL. PLEASE HELP

I'm not sure whether you can repair the damage to the tops of your Italian cypresses. Topping the plants made a flat surface for the snow to collect and the weight of the snow sounds like it pushed the branches down so they are no longer growing upwards. Sometimes you can correct this by tying the tops up with a soft fabric (such as pantyhose) and other times the only thing you can do is prune away the damaged branches and try to taper the top of the plant so it isn't so flat and so it won't collect snow. I hope you can repair the damage!

Healthy soil is full of insects and they generally won't do much harm. I'd just leave them alone and let them feed on dead and dying plant material. They help to recycle organic matter.
