Your variegated jasmine will grow in morning sun, afternoon shade, in rich, well draining soil. Prepare the soil by spreading 3-4 inches of compost or other organic matter over the planting bed and digging it in to a depth of 8-10 inches. Level the soil and dig the hole as deep but slightly wider than the nursery container. After setting your plant in the hole, fill around the sides with soil and tamp it down gently. Then water the plant well to help settle the soil. Enjoy your beautiful jasmine!
