I just recently purchased a Boulevard Cypress and would like to know the growth rate per year. I know it's suppose to reach a height of 8-10 feet but I don't know how long it will take to get there. Can you tell me?
Thank you, Debbie

Chamaecyparis pisifera (Boulevard cypress) is a hardy little tree -- soft-looking but rugged -- can take winters of 30 below as well as summer heat just short of the subtropical. Like most Chamaecyparis, Boulevard stays fairly short, usually less than 10 feet at maturity. It is considered a slow-grower, typically putting on 4-6 inches of growth each year.
