Question: I would like to use agapanthas as a shrub against my back fenece. The length to cover is 70ft. How may plants will I need? Thanks

Answer: Agapanthus can grow about 2' wide. You can space your plants 18-24 inches apart if you want them to grow together or 3' apart if you want them to appear as single specimen plants. For your your project you will need between 25 and 35 plants.
