The Q&A Archives: Chrysanthemums

Question: I recently purchased 2 5-gallon potted Chrysanthemums that are kept outdoors. What is the best way to care for them and keep them alive?

Answer: Your new chrysanthemums should bloom until the end of November (and maybe beyond) if you cut off the dead flowers and stems and if you keep them watered on a regular basis. Give them sunshine and water when the top of the soil dries out. That's all they need. Enjoy!
