I plan to move three large Boston Ferns form outdoors to indorrs as the weather begins to get cooler. What can I use to get any bugs off my plants and keep the plants form going into shock?

Usually all you need to do is hose them off with plain water from the hose. Be thorough and direct the spray underneath the leaves, along the stems and the upper parts of the leaves, as well. This way you won't accidentally harm your plants (not all are tolerant of insect sprays) and you won't bring the chemical residues into your home where they may remain for quite some time. Just rinse the plants off periodically in the shower to further discourage insect pests.
