| Pruning really depends upon the type of bonsai you are growing. Some root pruning will be necessary, as well, in relation to the top pruning. There are lots of books available on the subject at your local library, or you can try a web search using the name of the plant and you'll come up with some pruning suggestions. Enjoy your bonsai. |
