I removed ivy from the front of my hillside home. I plan to lay sod, but would also like some small to medium plant suggestions (for the walkway) that do ok on a steep slope and that are also deer resistant. Thanks! Karen

Some of the most deer resistant plants include Aristolochia (Dutchman?s pipe), Artemisia (California sagebrush), Asarum caudatum (wild ginger), Carpenteria (California anemone), Ceratostigma (plumbago), Cestrum, Chrysanthemum parthenium (golden feverfew), Cistus (rockrose), Coprosma, Lavandula (lavender), Nepeta (catmint), Nicotiana (flowering tobacco), Origanum (oregano), Salvia, Santolina (lavendar cotton), and Stachys (lamb?s ears). Best wishes with your landscape!
