I am growing lemon grass. Can I plant and leave it outdoors all year? I live in Tennessee and we usually have mild winters.

Your mild winters are not quite mild enough. Even in the Gulf Coast states lemon grass can die from winter freezes in the mid-to-low 20's. I would suggest you divide the clump in fall and pot up a division to bring indoors for winter. Keep the plant in a brightly lit spot. Set it out next spring when temperatures warm up again. With warm temperatures, water and some nutrients it will be up and going in no time!
