Curcuma alismatifolia is member of the family Zingiberaceae (ginger) family. It is a native of Thailand and grows from a rhizome. It does equally well in full or partial sun and aside from regular watering, doesn't need much care. When the flowers are spent cut the flower stalk down. Your plant will bloom from spring through summer so expect to see new flowring stems emerge all summer long. Enjoy!
