what is the best way to trim my WICHITA BLUE SPIRAL JUNIPER? i purchased thes trees a few years ago and the were nice shaped now they are scraggley looking. thank for any help, norman miller |
Annual pruning is best for your spirals. Reduce the size so they are even, and remove any growth where the stems should be bare. If you rub out the sprouts as they appear, they are easier to remove from the bare trunk. Otherwise, an overall shearing every spring will keep them looking nice. |
