I have 2 very small banana tree less than a foot high, what can I do to make it grow

Some banana trees are dwarf and others are standard size at maturity. There's not much you can do to encourage them to reach their full potential other than to water frequently and feed each spring with a time release fertilizer high in nitrogen (such as a 20-10-10. As soon as the roots are well established and they get lots of water, they should grow well for you. Enjoy!
