I have flying white moths flying in my garden ferns. What are they and what do I do to control them? Thanks Sharon

There's not much you can do to control the white moths because they fly around and are hard to capture or hit with sprays, but if they are laying eggs and the eggs hatch into caterpillars, you can use the botanical Bt which is sold as Dipel or Thuricide in garden centers. Bt targets only caterpillars and is harmless to people and pets.
