The Q&A Archives: when to transfer vegetables

Question: When do I transplant my vegetables outside in my garden? I have started them with seeds in the house and some of them are sprouting.

Answer: After the seedlings have developed 3-4 sets of leaves you can move them outdoors. Gradually acclimate them to being outdoors by first setting them out in a shady spot and moving them into sunnier and sunniers spots until they are sitting in full sunshine all day long. Then plant them in your garden. Enjoy!
