I have had a hill of blue rug juniper for approx 10 years. This last year it has not been doing well and ended up buying 40 new blue rug juniper plants. I discovered a great deal of grubs and assume this may be the problem. What can I put down to rid the hill of grubs without damaging the junipers?

Grub control products such as Grubex or Bayer Advanced Season Long Grub control are registered for use on both lawns and flower beds so if you apply according to label directions the product should not harm your junipers. Be sure to read the labels just to make sure the formulation has not changed and the products can be used in flower beds.
