putting arborvitae in a container instead putting in the ground, what care is needed?

Some of the smaller arborvitaes are perfectly suited to growing in containers. Use potting soil rather than garden soil, and check for water needs on a daily basis. Plants in containers tend to need more water than the same plants growing in the ground. Arborvitae grows best in full sunshine. Enjoy your new plants!
