I received 3 little Red Bud starts from the Arbor Soc. I've had them in pots all summer. When would be the best time to transplant them? I'd like to plant them at our Lake Buchanan house.
Thanks,
Mari Kay

I expect the weather will cool down within the next few weeks and you can plant them then. It sounds like you have a vacation home. If so, and if you won't be there to water regularly you might want to wait until fall rains are on the horizon and plant them then. Best wishes with your red buds!
