Answer: Lily bulbs can be lifted and divided every 3-4 years. Wait until fall when the foliage has yellowed or ripened and carefully dig the bulbs out of the ground. You should find little bulblets attached to the mother bulb. Break these off and plant them on their own. Replant the mother bulb and water everything in well.
