According to my resources, your first average frost of the season arrives about October 3rd. You'll want to plant your bulbs by mid-September to beat the frost date and still have a couple of weeks to water your garden to help the bulbs and the roots of your daisies settle into the garden before cold weather arrives. Hope this answers your question.
