The Q&A Archives: hibiscus

Question: should I cut my hibiscus bush back for the winter?

Answer: If you want to cut it back, wait until frost kills the tops of the plants and then cut it down to ground level and pile a few inches of organic matter over the top to help protect the roots. Or, you can wait until spring and cut it down at that time. Enjoy your garden!
