I had a lovely honeysuckle growing up a vine pole. It was on the bright south facing upper balcony of our house (in a container). The balcony is covered so the plant doesn't get any direct sun. The vine/leaves became covered in brown blotches and the leaves all yellowed and died. I cut the whole thing back but for maybe 10 inches of vine. It is now growing back, but how can I prevent the mold infection in the future?

Honeysuckles love sunshine! The more the better! Try finding a sunnier spot, perhaps with better air circulation, and your honeysuckle should grow and flower profusely.
