| I live in Phoenix, AZ. Can I plant roses in Sept or Oct. The ones I plante in May all died from the heat. Are they available at this time of year? |
| If you can find roses this fall, you can certainly plant them. The biggest variety will be available in January, though, so I'd suggest waiting until then. They will be bareroot and you can plant them as soon as they begin showing up in nursery centers. They will suffer no transplant shock, will begin to grow immediately and will have 3-4 months of good growing time before the summer weather arrives, which will help them tolerate the summer heat.
