I asked a question the other day about mold. The answer was to use an insecticidal soap. Can you tell me some brand names so I know what to look for please? We have black, sooty mold on the trees from bugs apparantly.
Thank you-Tom Jones

Sure! Safer's Insecticidal Soap, Bonide? Insect Killing Soap; Concern? Insect Killing Soap are all effective against aphids although repeat sprays will probably need to be made to control the entire population. Once you get rid of the insects, the sooty mold will weather away.
