| Some houseplants are more sensitive to chemicals in the water than others and develop brown tips because of this. You might try bottled water or distilled water. Dry air can also cause the tips to turn brown. Try increasing humidity around your plants by setting them on a gravel filled tray in which you keep a little water. As the water evaporates it increases humidity around the plants. Hope these two strategies help! |
