The Q&A Archives: Cutting back daisies

Question: Before winter, do I need to cut the Daisy stems to the ground?

Answer: It's best to wait until the first frost kills the tops of the plants. This signals the roots to go into dormancy. After the tops freeze down you can cut them off at ground level. Good luck with your garden!
