The Q&A Archives: Angel Trumpet Flower Blooms

Question: I started an Angel Trumpet plant this spring; it is now about 3 ft tall but still has no blooms. Any suggestions?

Answer: I think your Angel's Trumpet will bloom for you next year. It takes 2-3 years for these plants to mature enough to flower, and they flower on new growth so next spring cut your plant back by one half to encourage new growth and I think you'll see lots of new growth and some flowers, too. Enjoy!
