my winter jasmine (Jasminum nudiflorum) has yellowing leaves...i think it needs fertilizing? what should i use and when?

Yellowing leaves can be caused by overwatering or might simply be that the oldest leaves are being shed. If the new foliage is yellowing, it can indicate a need for fertilizer. I'd use a time release 10-10-10 or similar, in amounts as recommended on the label.
