The Cherry Tree in my yard is loosing leaves without even changing color. All the similar trees in my neighborhood seem to have the same problem. Is that a disease? If that is the case, what is the treatment?

Heat stress can make the leaves drop prematurely. Since lots of trees are showing the same symptoms, I think it's safe to conclude that heat stress is the culprit. Cherry tree leaves and thin and tender. Because of that they are more susceptible to heat stress. I don't think it's anything to worry about. Best wishes with your landscape.
