My zucchini have yellow leaves and they are not growing. I use mulch and water them 3 to 4 times a week.

Sounds like your squash needs to be fed. It's usually sufficient to amend the planting bed prior to planting with compost or aged manure so nutrients will be available to the roots of growing plants, but sometimes an application of fertilizer is needed - especially if the plants are growing in poor soil. You can side-dress your garden with a complete fertilizer with a 5-10-10 ratio. Broadcast the fertilizer and rake it lightly into the soil, then water it in well. Your plants should perk right up.
