I trimmed my schefflera plant back some, and wondered...
Can a new schefflera plant be rooted and grown from a cutting?

Schefflera is a difficult houseplant to propagate. You can take stem cuttings, dip the end in rooting hormone, and place in potting soil. The cuttings will require bottom heat to root, so use a heating cable or root zone heat mat. Your success rate may be low, but it's worth a try.
