I just recently purchased a cherry tree and would like to plant it during this time. What would you advice me? And can I plant other fruit trees now? Thanks

You can plant your new fruit trees now, in September. They will still have time to establish before the winter weather arrives. If you can't get your trees into the ground this month you might want to wait to purchase bareroot fruit trees in February and plant them as soon as the ground thaws. Good luck with your new fruit trees!
