I HAVE ONE SPOT ABOUT IN MY FRONT YARD THAT EVERYTHING I PLANT DIES. I AM WONDERING IF IT IS SOIL RELATED AND IF SO WHAT CAN I DO TO ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM? |
Could be soil related or it might be that that particular spot doesn't drain well - or drains too quickly to suit the plants you are trying to grow. I'd dig out the soil in that spot (at least 12 inchews deep) and replace it with soil from another part of your yard. This will get rid of any tainted soil but will also loosen the soil so it drains well. If you add some compost or aged manure to the soil before replacing it, it will also hold just the right amount of moisture to make your plants happy. Hope this helps! |
