Answer: Palms that remain small can be considered shrub sized. Look for the terms "dwarf", "pygmy" or "miniature" included in the name of the plant. Each garden center has different nursery stock, depending upon what grows well in that particular area. You might check with the nursery manager of your local Home Depot to see if they can generate a list for you.
