Only some items I planted in my garden grew-produced where , who and how can I get my soil tested to see what I need to add to my soil? What vegetables should/can I plant now?

You can have your soil tested through Texas A & M. Here's their website with instructions for taking a soil sample, how to submit the sample, and the forms you'll need: http://soiltesting.tamu.edu/

You can plant cool season vegetables now. Leaf lettuces, cabbage, kale, green beans, peas, spinach - in fact, anything that does not need to flower and set fruit. Enjoy your garden!
