I have a very small back yard that is fenced in a housing development and I was looking for a tree that wouldn't grow too tall and bother the neighbors who live on the other side of the fences. Is there any trees that only grow to about 6-7 feet? and are not too bushy and would take up a lot of yard space?

I think the only trees that might fit the area is a dwarf weeping cherry or dwarf weeping crabapple. They remain about 6' tall and 3-4' wide. Another possibility is to purchase a shrub such as a camellia that's been trained into a tree form. Hope one of these suggestions works for your landscape.
