| bought at HD and has been outdoors then moved in and now moved out in May this year and stopped blooming in May...been fertilinzing with bloom booster MGro monthly...cant figure why stopped blooming after one year of large blooms??? |
| Tuberous begonias generally need a rest during the winter months and it is not clear from your question whether you kept yours growing all winter or if you allowed the foliage to die down in the fall and you stored the tuber over the winter months. It is normal for the plants to stop blooming and the leaves to die back in preparation for a period of dormancy. I suspect you will see this beginning to happen with yours within the next few weeks. Once the flowering period is over, allow leaves to die back. Remove the dead foliage and store the tuber in a cool, dry place. When you see new little sprouts beginning to emerge, pot the tuber up and resume regular watering. Hope this clarifies things for you. |
